After the excitement of the 2011 Championship at Sandwich, The Open moves on to Royal Lytham & St Annes this July where the world’s greatest golfers will compete for the famous Claret Jug won last year by Northern Ireland's Darren Clarke.

Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club was founded in 1886 and the layout of the present day course remains faithful to the original created by the club's first professional, George Lowe, over a century ago. It is one of the premier links courses in the world, host to ten Open Championships (the last in 2001), two Ryder Cups and numerous other major tournaments including the Women’s and Seniors Open Championships.

It is a true links course, built on linksland but set back from the current day shoreline and separated from it by housing, roads, and a railway line. However, the proximity is such that the wind from the sea still comes into play, and the competitors are further challenged by the 206 bunkers scattered around the course. Royal Lytham is also unique as it is the only course on The Open Championship rota that starts with a par 3 hole.

Day 1 - After a morning departure from your local area, we will travel to your hotel with a stop en route at a place of interest before continuing our journey to your hotel with plenty of time to relax before dinner and the first of your three nights stay.

Day 2 - After a full English breakfast, we will depart for the venue of the 2012 British Open Golf Championship; Royal Lytham & St Annes. Just soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the day's play! We will return to your hotel for dinner and your second night's stay.

Day 3 - After breakfast, it is off to Royal Lytham again for the final day of competition and the presentation of the famous Claret Jug to the 2012 Open winner! After the final ceremony and a fabulous day of sporting action, we will return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 4 - Following a full English breakfast, we will commence the return journey home after a most memorable break to the 2012 Open Championship at Royal Lytham & St Annes Golf Club!
